Sinners in the Hands of an Angry God

The minor things we do today are major in the eyes of puritans. If we look back at a women while she walks past, it's a sin. The puritans couldn't have any fun, or do almost anything satisfying without it being a problem in Edward's eyes. What made puritanism so bad is not being able to seek forgiveness. One simple mistake will lead you in hell. I interpreted God as an angry man you cannot persuade at all. Whatever he says goes. If you don't believe you did what you were accused of, but he does there's no way you can persuade him into believing you didn't do it. As soon as you make one simple error, you might as well keep committing sins since you are going to hell anyway. I haven't heard of a more ridiculous religion than Puritanism. They are so strict for basically no reason. Everyone sins, no one is perfect. Therefor, everyone dies. Does that make sense to have the laws that strict? No. Nothing in Puritanism makes sense. In example, the touch test. What since does that make to determine if you should kill someone depending on their reaction to someone touching you? None. I guess they never heard of pretending or acting. People could easily pretend to act a certain way save themselves from death. The whole puritan idea was not thought through thoroughly. In christianity God is someone everyone respects, looks up to, praises, worships, etc. but the Puritans God is not a nice guy. He is a very angry man that is just ready ti strike someone to death because of looking at someone the wrong way, or even chewing their gum too loud.  It's nearly impossible not to sin in the God's eye. If I lived in the Puritan age, I would choose not to be Puritan or I would've been dead a long time ago. I am full of flaws and you basically have to be flawless.
